Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are a legal agreement between you and Edgile HR Services LLP, Gurgaon, Haryana, India, which operates FabCV. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use FabCV.

2. Who can use FabCV

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must give an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

One account is for one person. Please do not share your login or resell access.

3. What the service does

FabCV uses artificial intelligence to help you present your existing career history in a way that reads better, and to match it to a particular job. Depending on what you choose, it can score a resume, improve it, merge two into one, or tailor one to a specific job description.

Creating an account is free. Every generation uses credits from a pack you have bought. There is no free generation.

4. Accuracy is your responsibility

This is the most important clause in this document, so please read it carefully.

FabCV reorganises and rephrases the career history you supply. It is designed not to invent qualifications, employers, dates or achievements. However, AI systems can make mistakes, including misreading a date, overstating a result, or phrasing something in a way that implies more than you intended.

Gaps against a job description. When you tailor a resume to a job description, the service does not write lines for requirements your resume does not support. It lists those requirements in a note above your result so that you can decide whether to supply the details yourself. If you do, and you run it again, the wording is built from what you supplied. Everything in the resume you download is drawn from the material you gave us.

5. Your content and who owns what

You keep ownership of the resumes, job descriptions and notes you upload. By uploading them, you give us a limited licence to store and process that content for the sole purpose of delivering the service to you, including sending it to our AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy.

You own the resumes the service generates for you. Use them however you like.

We own FabCV itself: the website, the software, the brand, and the prompts and methods behind it. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

You confirm that you have the right to upload whatever you upload, and that it is your own career history and not someone else's.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload another person's resume and present it as your own.
• Ask the service to fabricate qualifications, employers, dates, degrees or certifications.
• Upload anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing on someone else's rights.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or scrape the service, or to change the requests the app sends so that you pay less than the published credit cost.
• Resell, rebrand or offer FabCV output as your own commercial service.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or use up credits.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, without a refund.

7. Credits, pricing and payment

FabCV runs on prepaid credits. Each service uses a fixed number of credits, shown on our Pricing page and in the app before you confirm a generation.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Credit packs are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own, so there is nothing to cancel. Our full Cancellation, Refunds and Delivery Policy is part of these terms. In short:

• Unused pack: if you have not used any credit from a pack, you may ask for a full refund of that pack within 7 days of purchase.
• Used pack: once any credit from a pack has been used, that pack is not refundable.
• Failed generation: you are not charged for a generation that fails. If credits were taken but you received no usable result, tell us within 7 days and we will restore them.
• Wrong or double charge: refunded in full.
• Wording: not being happy with how the AI phrased something is not a ground for a refund. You can run it again with different context notes.
• Expired credits: not refundable.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days. To ask for one, write to help@fabcv.com.

9. Availability

We aim to keep FabCV running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because a provider we depend on has an outage. We may add, change or withdraw features at any time. If we withdraw the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund any unused credits.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Indian law allows:

• FabCV is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for lost job opportunities, lost income, reputational harm, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
• Where we are found liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months before the claim arose.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Closing your account

You can delete your account yourself from My Account in the app. Deletion takes effect 48 hours after you confirm it, and you can cancel before then by signing back in. Unused credits are forfeited when you close your account, unless you are within the 7 day refund window in section 8.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we withdraw the service. Where closure is not your fault, we will refund unused credits.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or by a notice in the app before it takes effect. If you continue to use FabCV after that, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Gurgaon, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, both sides agree to try to resolve the matter in good faith by writing to each other first.
